Bryceville Elementary School teachers Terri Keim and Natalie Faucher receive grants from the Nassau Education Foundation. Faucher received two grants, with one for fourth grade in the amount of $975 to purchase The Walking Classroom walk kits, and another in the same amount for the fifth grade walk kits. These are MP3 players preloaded with more than 100 standards-based podcasts for students to learn English language arts-based standards. Keim wrote two grants as well, receiving a total of $1,800. This money will be used to purchase Guided Reading leveled books for primary and intermediate classrooms at BES. Her grants were also for books in the leveled book room.
