The Air Force JROTC hosts the e Community Military and Veterans Appreciation Night at 6 p.m. Nov. 8 inside the West Nassau High School cafeteria.
Join the community in saying “thank you” this Veterans Day to all those serving and who have served in the military. The Community Military and Veterans Appreciation Night will begin at 6 p.m. Nov. 8 inside the West Nassau High School cafeteria.
Free food will be available to everyone and drawings will occur for military personnel and veterans who attend. All military personnel, military retirees and veterans will be honored and thanked.
The West Nassau High School Air Force JROTC hosts the annual event with assistance from the Warrior Band, Hilliard American Legion Post 401, local community organizations and businesses. The JROTC cadets are preparing a patriotic show that will be the highlight of the evening.
Individuals and organizations wishing to help sponsor this annual event can donate to the fund through the Hilliard American Legion, Callahan Lions Club (Military Appreciation Fund) or by contacting John Page at 879-7082, 904-465-0611 or sgmjhpage@gmail.com. Last year 100 military members and veterans signed in and were honored and more than 400 people were in attendance. West Nassau High School is located at 1 Warrior Dr., Callahan.
