The Callahan Fall Market will be held in West Nassau High School’s parking lot Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Presented by the WNHS Theatre Department, the outdoor market serves as a fundraiser for the students to go to scholarship competitions. Vendor spots are still available.

The students recently attended the Florida Theatre Conference at Santa Fe College, where 62 colleges were in attendance. Hundreds of students competed for one of two $1,000 scholarships, with WNHS student Lukas Smack receiving one. Fellow student Elizabeth Goodno won one of 10 All Star Actor awards presented. All of the theatre students have been accepted by colleges, but are working to fund their educations.

Under the direction of theatre director Joshua McKinney, the students aim to attend the Southeastern Theatre Conference in Knoxville, Tenn. where several scholarships can be earned.

Vendors may rent parking spaces to sell original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, home décor and more. Spots are $15 each. It’s a unique opportunity for local crafters, artisans and farmers to exhibit their goods to the public.

Entrance fee is $2 a person or $5 for a family of four. Children under 12 are free. Snow cones, cotton candy, a bounce house, food and shopping will be available.

Donations for raffles and a silent auction are also sought.

For vendor information and donation questions, contact WNHS Theatre Booster President Christi Park at 904-334-1619 or visit www.facebook.com/CallahanFallMarket.
