The West Nassau High School cheerleaders are state champions once again, this time competing in Class 1A Medium Varsity Non-Tumbling. They won the title Saturday night in Gainesville. The Warriors scored 74.1 for first place while The King’s Academy came in second with 73.8. Lake Wales scored much lower at 59.3 for third and Chaminade Madonna scored 54.5. West Nassau will compete for a national title Feb. 11-12 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex inside Walt Disney World. The Warriors perform at 2:48 p.m. Saturday. The squad reigns as UCA national champions. Coached by Samantha Beazley, the team includes Kaley Bradham, Skyler McCue, Mackenzie Salinger, Makayla Dorner, Ke’Ana Pennamon, Camryn Murray, Haley Hursey, Kimberly Kaneer, Marysue Anderson, Chelsea Alexander, Jasmine Singletary, Jessica Stratton, Faith Braddock, Kendra Porterfield, Lexi Batrous, Haley Love, Bella Regulacion and Haley Horton.
