Birth certificates are now available in Callahan.
Tax Collector John Drew became the first tax collector in Florida to offer birth certificate services and formulated and created the pilot program with the Florida Department of Health.
Customers may apply for a copy of their Florida birth certificate at the tax collector’s main office in Yulee and now at the Callahan branch.
“This is yet another great leap forward expanding government services to the citizens who live here in western Nassau County,” said Drew.
