World War II veteran honored

Barry Moody, President of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1088, honors Robert Poston, right, during the VVA meeting in July for Poston’s service and gallantry as a member of the U.S. Army Air Corps. He served during World War II, trained to be a gunner/radio operator on B-17 bombers for the Asiatic Pacific Theatre and also as a radio technician.
